On February 12, 2012 the Cocoanut Grove in Santa Cruz hosted Poetry Festival Santa Cruz, the last of which occurred in the early 1980s! Magnitudes of talent ranged the stage from Wanda Coleman to Jack Hirschman to S.A. Griffin. It was a proud day for poetry!

image Jessica Wilson Jessica M. Wilson is a poet from Los Angeles, CA. She holds her Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Otis College, and a BA in both Creative Writing and Art History from UC Riverside. She is the founder of the Los Angles Poet Society, Writers' Row: Downtown Los Angeles' Official Written Art Showcase, and Soapbox Poets which is a collaborative group of artists delivering their work to the masses. Jessica's work will be represented in the upcoming anthology, In The Company of Women, to be released early in 2012.
