Jib Machine Records Announce Expansion, Releases
Listening Party, New Albums on the Horizon, and Spreading their Tunes to the West!
We would like to start off by announcing the signings of two new artists to the Jib roster...Poor Ass Leon (the hardcore punk brainchild of long-time Jib collaborator Brandon Youngs) and David Bowling. David is currently recording his debut CD with Dave Brooks, friend of Jib and long-time Cleveland musician, and it is slated for release later this year. However, Poor Ass Leon's debut album New Revolution will be released via Jib Machine NEXT WEEK on 4/20/13!
To celebrate this signing and release, we'll be having a listening party at the Map Room (1281 W. 9th St., Cleveland, OH 44113) on the evening of April 20th at 9pm. In addition to the PAL CD, we'll also be celebrating the release of two additional CDs recorded for this year's RPM Challenge...Alcoholik Spok's Alcoholik Spok 2 featuring JT & PF2 and Take Our Jazz's Selling Death By The Pill featuring Louie Styx, Jesse Mellinger & Joe Stefano. It promises to be a fun night filled with cool new music so we hope to see you there!
Finally, we've saved the best for last...
After 16 years in Cleveland and 9 years as co-owner of JMR, Tim "Regi" Houle will be heading west next week to permanently relocate in Las Vegas, NV! While there, Regi will be promoting and expanding the Jib brand with specific concentration on our latest project, Jib Digital (set to launch in early 2014). From Studio 13 to JibNation to countless shows and then some, it's been one hell of a ride in Cleveland, and we wish "El Houlo" the best as takes on this new venture. Rock it out...re re!
That's all for now. Until next time...
